Frequently Asked Questions
- Finding Coupons
- How do I find merchants in my area with coupons?
- I'm traveling soon. Can I find coupons in other locations?
Just use the search box on the upper right (if you're using a computer or a tablet), or on the first menu item (if you're on a smartphone). Search by town name, city name, or ZIP code. Our searching is pretty smart, so you can even use abbreviations for your town if they are in common use (like "FW" for Fort Worth, or "NRH" for North Richland Hills - you get the idea).
Sure! Just use the search box on the upper right (if you're using a computer or a tablet), or on the first menu item (if you're on a smartphone). Search by town name, city name, or ZIP code.
- Claiming Coupons
- How do I claim a coupon?
- Create an account. Click here to sign up.
- Sign in to your account. (You won't have to do this all the time. If you don't sign out, you should stay signed for several months.)
- Search for your town, city, or ZIP code. Or click "My Places" on the menu.
- Click on the name of a business offering a great deal. A page for that business will open, and you will see any details and limitations for the coupon they are offering.
- Click the big red "CLAIM $9 OFF COUPON" button. (Or it might be a "CLAIM $99 OFF COUPON" button. This depends on the business, and which coupon they have chosen to offer to consumers right now.)
- Why do I need an account to claim and redeem coupons?
- Because coupons have capacity controls. Merchants can choose to offer individual consumers the ability to claim one coupon a day, a week, a month, or a year. Some businesses want to focus on bringing in new customers, while others are fine using coupons for repeat customers. Each business is different, and customization is an important aspect of what we offer to businesses, so you can get great deals.
- Because each consumer starts with 9 free Coupon Claim Credits, and having an account is how you access them.
- Because when you claim and use a coupon, the merchant will receive your name, address, and email address or mobile phone, since you have established a customer relationship with this merchant. This allows the merchant to communicate any future specials or promotions directly to you if they wish to do so. You may always choose to unsubscribe from any such messages you might receive. Merchants work very hard to find customers who are interested in their products and services, and providing this consumer information to the merchant upon redemption allows GetMy9.com to offer consumers extremely lucrative coupon offers.
- How long do I have to use a claimed coupon?
- Can I cancel a coupon if I realize I won't be able to use it before the expiration date?
There are several reasons:
You have 9 days to use a coupon. To put this another way, any coupon you claim will expire 9 days after you first claimed it. This expiration date is shown on a printed coupon if you print it for a store, or on your smartphone or tablet if you are redeeming the coupon from your device. When you are claiming a coupon, this date is shown for your planning ("If claimed today, coupon expires xx/xx/20xx").
Yes, you can, and you should! Because you get a free Coupon Claim Credit if you cancel a coupon you are not going to use. To cancel, use the "My Coupons" page on your account. Cancel a coupon right from your phone, tablet, or computer if you decide not to use it, or if you realize that you won't make it to the store before the expiration date.
- Redeeming Coupons
- How do I redeem a coupon I have claimed?
- I don't have a smartphone. Will I be able to print the coupons in order to redeem them?
- Does the merchant receive my name and address if I redeem their coupon?
- What is the "verify" button on my list of claimed coupons?
You can redeem a coupon either from your smartphone (internet-connected phone), or by printing the coupon.
To redeem from your phone when in the store, just sign in. Scroll down your list of claimed coupons to the one you wish to redeem. Click the "Redeem in Store" button. Ask the merchant or salesperson to enter their merchant code onscreen. Click "Redeem Now." The coupon will be marked as redeemed in your account, and the merchant should apply the discount to your purchase.
To redeem a printed coupon, just give the printed coupon and your photo ID to the merchant. The salesperson should review the coupon and verify that your name matches the name printed on the coupon. The merchant may also choose to call in to the GetMy9.com toll-free number to verify the validity of your specific coupon.
Yes, of course. Sign in to your account. Scroll down your list of claimed coupons to the one you wish to print. Click the "Print for Store" button to open a printable page. Print out that page, and take it with you when you are ready to redeem the coupon in the store.
Yes. The merchant whose coupon you redeemed receives your name, mailing address, and your email address or mobile phone number, since you have established a customer relationship with this merchant. This allows the merchant to communicate any future specials or promotions directly to you in future if they wish to do so. You may always choose to unsubscribe from any such messages you might receive. Merchants work very hard to find customers who are interested in their products and services, and providing this consumer information to the merchant upon redemption allows GetMy9.com to offer consumers extremely lucrative coupon offers.
If you print a coupon to use it in store, we ask that you verify it as redeemed by entering the amount of your purchase. This earns you a another free Coupon Claim Credit.

- Daily Cash Bonuses
- Does GetMy9.com really give out Daily Cash Bonuses?
- How do I claim a $9 Daily Cash Bonus?
- When will I get my check for the Daily Cash Bonus that I claimed successfully?
Yes, there is a $9 Daily Cash Bonus given every day on every active town/neighborhood portal that has more than 9 merchant advertisers.
Daily Cash Bonuses appear on the site portals at random times between 6 AM and 10 PM. They are shown in a green box at the top of the individual merchant page. (Click on a merchant name to see this page.)
You must sign in to your account to claim a Daily Cash Bonus, and you must be the first person of the day to place your claim when a bonus is visible. Once the Daily Cash Bonus has been claimed for a particular portal for that day, the links to that bonus will disappear. However, if you are not signed in, you may see a Daily Cash Bonus listed, click it, take time to sign in, and then find you have missed your opportunity. The takeaway? Sign in to your account at the beginning of each visit to GetMy9.com, and click on each merchant name to see if the Daily Cash Bonus for your local portal is listed on that merchant's page (you can't miss it if it is there).
You are eligible to claim the $9 Daily Cash Bonus for the individual town/neighborhood portal that includes your residential ZIP code. "But I shop outside my local ZIP code!" you cry. Of course you do. But merchants who list their coupons on GetMy9.com need to know that their immediate neighbors have a reason to check back for new coupons. Hence the Daily Cash Bonus.
You personally may claim up to 9 Daily Cash Bonuses in a 30-day period. And you will get a $9 check in the mail for every Daily Cash Bonus you claim.
It will be mailed within one week. You can check on the status of your Daily Cash Bonus on the "My Bonuses" page of your account.
